Reading...
Children in our class are reading at different levels.  All children are learning to read in A1.  They need to practise their reading (from class) at home.

Please be aware that only children who bring their book bags to school are able to take a reading book home. 

Feel free to make a comment in your child's reading log when it comes home.  It boosts their self esteem that much more when I check their journals and give them a high five before we read a new book.  

A reminder that book bags are not part of the stationery list if your child is a returning Year 1 or Year 2 student.  Only the new entrant children (5 year old students) get a book bag as part of their stationery pack.

Book bags can be purchased from the school office.

For learning to take place each day, we need to remember ALL  our learning gear needed for school.
